The Governance Stack: Tokenization × Proof of Intent × Human Oversight

Autonomous GTM is only safe when every agent action is economically aligned, fully explainable, and ultimately accountable to humans. This stack ensures agents act like trustworthy teammates—not black-box automation.

Why Governance Is Non-Negotiable for Autonomous GTM

Autonomy without governance creates exactly the fears enterprises already have: Opaque decisions, incentive drift, and compliance risk. GTM is too close to revenue, reputation, and regulation to tolerate that.

The Three Layers of the Governance Stack

Governance acts as three interlocking safety nets: Tokenized Alignment, Proof of Intent (PoI), and Human Oversight.

1. Tokenized Alignment – The Incentive Layer

Purpose: Ensure agents are **economically aligned** with enterprise goals, not just activity metrics.

  • Assigns agents an incentive contract tied to accuracy, compliance, and strategic impact.
  • Rewards agents with tokens for good behavior; penalizes for drift or rule violations.
  • Creates a persistent **reputation score** that influences permissions and trust.

2. Proof of Intent (PoI) – The Transparency Layer

Purpose: Turn every autonomous action into an **explainable, auditable decision**.

  • Records the reasoning: relevant data, GTM Math inputs, constraints checked, and confidence score.
  • Leaders can ask, “Why did we email this CISO?” and get a precise, human-readable answer.
  • PoI becomes the debug log for improving agents instead of guessing at behavior.

3. Human Oversight – The Judgment Layer

Purpose: Give **humans the final say** when stakes are high, ambiguity is high, or rules are evolving.

  • High-value accounts, regulated regions, or low-confidence decisions require human approval.
  • PoI records are surfaced to humans as review packets: "Here’s what the agent wants to do" and "Here are the constraints it checked."
  • Humans can approve, modify, or block the action, turning autonomy into a force-multiplier for judgment.

How the Governance Stack Works Together

This is a closed-loop control system around every agent. Successes, failures, and human corrections feed back into agent reputation, GTM Math models, and governance thresholds, ensuring the system is fast where it can be, cautious where it should be, and always explainable.

Example Scenarios: Governance in Real GTM Flows

Scenario 1: Risky Segment Expansion

Agent proposes targeting a similar industry. PoI shows reasoning. Governance flags 'New segment; approval required.' Human approves as a controlled experiment. Tokens rewarded for compliant expansion.

Scenario 2: Potential Compliance Violation

Agent suggests adding contacts with inferred consent. PoI reveals missing consent flags. Policy engine blocks action automatically. Agent receives a small penalty.

Scenario 3: High-Stakes Executive Outreach

ABM Agent recommends a C-suite sequence. Policy routes to human strategist with PoI attached. Strategist tweaks language and approves. Agent is rewarded for pattern recognition.

Tradeoffs: Why Is This Extra Governance Worth It?

We trade slightly slower time-to-first-automation and more upfront policy thinking for **Enterprise Trust** and **Brand Safety**. Governance is not overhead; it’s the price of permission to go fast.

Our Design Beliefs

Autonomy must be **legible**. If you can’t see how an agent thinks (PoI), you can’t fix or trust it.

Incentives drive behavior. We don’t trust “good intentions” in code; we trust **aligned incentives** (Tokenization).

Humans should move **up the stack**. The point is not “no humans,” but humans focusing on strategic judgment, not mechanical tasks (Human Oversight).
